Too Much Like Me
Chrissy told me that today all the teachers were talking about an email that the principal, Dr. Towner, sent to them about diseases from rat urine on pop cans. The entire lounge was convinced it was true.
Chrissy didn’t buy it and told them they should check an urban legends web site to validate it. They all said, “But the email quotes a University research project that said the tops of cans are dirtier than toliets”. Chrissy told them that she didn’t believe the research was ever done.
Later on, Chrissy looked on About.com. It turns out that the email is not true. She forwarded the “myth breaker” to all who Dr. Towner sent the original note to. I love doing things like that, and now Chrissy does it too. That’s true love.
