Botcon 2008, As Seen On Twitter

I haven’t finished writing down all of this year’s Botcon experience, and I will most likely only write a short bit about the huge haul that I brought home. However, I did notice that I have a ton of tweets (Twitter posts) pertaining to Botcon, so I thought that I would post these for anyone who is both interested and not already following me on Twitter. @halfb8ked The Hyatt overbooked their Botcon rooms, so we got moved to the Millenium. Our rate went down to $119 and we got a night free. - April 30

@entearth I’m hoping for Hasbro to release some pics of the figures that I missed on Sunday. But those were all early prototypes, I believe. - April 28
@despotes I concur. If I were getting paid to blog, then I’d have a dozen posts up about Botcon already. It’ll have to wait for my real job. - April 28
@RamenJunkie I plan to write a dozen blog posts on Botcon and then backdate them as appropriate. Is that cheating? It’s just for me anyway. - April 28

@entearth On the way home from Botcon, I stopped at a K-Mart just outside of Cincinnati and found the whole Transformers Animated line. Yay! - April 27

@despotes I didn’t see you at Botcon today! Was only around for a few hours, and most of that was the Hasbro panel. Went to aqarium instead. - April 26
Last night in Cincinnati. I think that we’re going to bail out tomorrow morning. Would really like to visit the dealer room one more time. - April 26

The Botcon panels wrapped up only a half hour ago, but I’m already seeing coverage online. Some look phoned in. TF fans are rabid for news! - April 25
Eating lunch after watching three 2008 Botcon panels: IDW Comics, Cartoon Network, and Transformers Animated voice actors. Good stuff. - April 25
Back at hotel room after the first day of Botcon. Long lines at registration! Just put Chrissy’s exclusive “Shattered Glass” set on eBay. - April 24
Just had dinner at the restaurant in the Millenium Hotel. Worst service ever. And no other places to eat for several blocks. - April 24
Should be going to bed now so that we can wake up early to see how soon we can go to Cincinnati. I just gotta be there by 6 and I’ll be ok. - April 23

We’re going to leave for Botcon a day early so that we can do the Cincinnati Zoo on Thursday, then head to the Con registration at 6 PM. - April 20
Writing a list of figures that I need (120) and accessories that I’m missing (50) for Botcon. This is my one TF shopping trip of the year. - April 19
