We have always kept our photos on our web site. Our previous web site had photos from 2003-2006 on it, but those were lost when we changed web host providers (we still have the photos backed up at home, but I didn't see the need to re-upload three years worth of pictures to the internet).

To be honest, I always saw Flickr as a place that catered to people who didn't have web sites of their own. I didn't see the value in sharing and community-building. I've come around in the last year though. We're still using our web site to store our online albums, but Flickr will now hold select items for our 365 Projects.

Good luck with your upcoming 365 Project! I know how hard it can be to stick with it!

Flickr has been my choice for photo sharing for years. It also makes a great social site as well. The Project 365 is always an awesome idea. I have enjoyed watching others but haven't done one myself. I am preparing to do one for my son though. He starts kindergarden next week and I want to take a picture every day until he starts 1st Grade and can see how much he changed over a year.
