Garden Update: Tomato Factory
We have a tomato factory. Chrissy started out with three tomato plants in the raised plant beds. These have grown over the sides of the plant beds and are producing more tomatoes that we thought possible. We’re starting to wonder what to do with all of these tomatoes. Chrissy got a recipe for making salsa (with extra garlic), but otherwise we’re just giving them away.
Chrissy also planted three cherry tomato plants in the raised plant beds. We’re not giving many of these away though, because Aiden loves them. He eats them like candy. Probably more healthy for him than candy, so we don’t mind. We keep a bowl of them handy for him and the supply hasn’t diminished in the last month. We’re very happy with the output of our tomato plants.
